Casinos cause many problems for people

Nowadays, many people go to casinos and gamble. Some think this is okay, but I am totally against it. Casinos cause many problems for people, and there are two reasons for this.

 First, casinos increase crimes. If people go to casinos, they will gamble with money. This makes people fight for money, or commit fraud. Also, people in casinos can be lead to bad things. People can be addicted to alcohol and drugs. In addition, people can be lead to Mafia, black markets, or many other gangsters and organizations.

 Secondly, casinos are seriously dangerous. As I mentioned it before, there are many crimes in casinos. It can change a whole person if a person is addicted to gambling, eventually he‘ll be addicted to many other things such as alcohol and drugs. This will affect his family very much. His family will be beaten by him. Casinos don’t just affect the person who’s in the casino, but if affects the family of him. If this problem increases, many social problems will occur in the society.

However, opponents of this idea clam that casinos increase a person’s social and challenging ability they think while gambling, people can communicate with each other and posses s their social ability. In addition,they believe that gambling helppeople to be able to challenge themselves.

        Also, they assert that gambling possesses economic growth and benefits. They say that gambling costs a lot of money, which refers to economic growth of the country. However, I totally disagree with these two arguments. There first argument was, increasing social and challenging ability. But this argument fails because, the social ability which we learn is not used in the real society. We learn that we should be honest, but in gambling, we cheat and lie.

        They also claim that gambling possess economic growth. However, this is totally wrong because, there are more economic loss because, of casinos. There can be medical bills for the people who got beaten or who fought. In addition, there will be a lot of money loss because of committing frauds on people.

      Today I have told you about why casinos cause many problems on people. First, casinos increase crimes. Second, casinos are seriously dangerous. The opponents would say that casinos increase social ability and they’d also say that casinos possess economic growth. But I have proven that this does not stand. Thank you for reading.

Drabble on GLPS life

(here's my shorty story!! It's a drabble =D)

GLPS Life

I am at GLPS.

I wake up at seven.

I wash myself and prepare.

Then I take the elevator.

Why?

I am going to eat breakfast!

Then I go to Dasan building.

 I meet my friends and teachers.

That’s the start of my days in GLPS.

Four classes.

Work hard, play hard.

That’s what Wayne said..

After that,

It’s lunch!

Lunch after four classes is heaven.

But the rest after that is even more fantastic.

Then more three classes.

Oh yes, it’s dinner.

Oh, no, it’s self studying time.

At ten thirty, my day is over.

compare and contrast essay after watching 'Brave'

Hi! I'm Sarah.:)
 Last Friday, I watched a movie called 'Brave'. It was very interesting. The main character of the movie is Merida, who is the princess of a kingdom. As you know, there are many Disney princesses. Therefore, today, I'd like to compare and contrast Merida to some other Disney Princesses.
 First, I'm going to analyze Merida and Snow White. These two princesses both do not hace a good relationship with their mom, but the specific reason for this is different. Merida and her mom are both mad at each other, but Snow White is simply getting picked on by her mom. Also, Merida and Snow White both leave their palace when the major problem occured. The personality difference us that Merida is very active and high-tempered, but Snow White is very shy and humble.
 Next, I'd like to analyze Merida and Jasmine from Aladdin. Thare is a character difference between the. Merida is the main character of the story, but Jasmine is just a supporting character of Aladdin by being his girlfriend. Also, Jasmine is known as the most beautiful woman in the country, but Merida is honestly not.
 Now, let me analyze Merida and Ariel from 'Little Mermaid'. There are many differences and similarities between them. The difference is the relationship with their family. Merida fights with her family, but Ariel doesn't. Ariel fights with the evil witch instead. Also, Merida uses magic for her own good and her family, but Ariel uses magic for her love.
 Finally, I'll analyze Merida and Rapunzel. The clear difference is that Merida does not fall in love, compared to Rapunzel. However, they both use spells. Though the uses of the spells are different, their spell is a good key point in the story. Merida uses the spell to change her mom, but accidently the spell changed her mom into a bear. However, Rapunzel has a magic power in her long hair. Her fake mother uses this to make herself into a young, beautiful woman. Merida's spell is used by herself, but Rapunzel's spell is used by her fake mother.

My Goals During GLPS

 Right now, I am in KLMA because of GLPS. It is a great camp to learn English and get along with friends. I always feel like I am stuck in a rut at vacations, but this vacation, it's the opposite.
 Anyways, I'd like to tell you about my three goals to achieve at GLPS.
 First, taking at least two pictures a day of my dormitory room and my roommates. It is very easy. Just take a picture and memo when did I take the picture.
 Second, keeping time promises. I always fail at keeping time promises with my friends. I feel really sorry for them, so I decided to go 3 minutes earlier than the promised time.
 Lastly, no talking during the first studying period. It is very easy and very hard at the same time. I'll try to study hard rather than chatting with my friends.
 I really hope you get some help, and hope I can achieve my goals!!

Self Introduction

 Hi, my name is Sarah Lee. I attend at an elementary school which takes place at Suwon, South Korea.I am turning fourteen at 2013, and also going to middle school. I'm looking forward to my middle school life.
 If I could tell you some special things about myself, I would tell you these three things.
 First, my dream is to become a diplomat. I would be even better if I could work for UN. I chose this dream when I read a book about Ki-Moon Ban when I was 11. Ki-Moon Ban is the Secretary General of UN. He is my role-model.
 Also, my fourth toe on my right feet is shorter than how it should be. It's a bit funny. I wasn't born like this, but my Mom told me suddenly it became shorter. I can not remember my feet when it was not short, so I knew that it is strange when I was 9.
 Lastly, there are three students who have the same Korean name as me in the 6th grade in our school. My name is very common, so there are people who have the same name as me wherever I go.
